This reminds be of the saying "If we continue to do what we have always done, we will continue to get the same results". If what we have done has gotten us into trouble or into a situation, if we continue with those same actions, the trouble will continue. But if we change our ways, those same problems will not reoccur. We must learn from our mistakes and change our behavior to reach a successful outcome.
